For almost 10 years, John M. Clayton Elementary School has offered a fully inclusive kindergarten program to all of its students. Kindergarten students at John M.Clayton follow a schedule consistent with those students in grades 1 through 5. Students receive instruction in the four core subject areas, as well as receiving a daily special and a 30-minute program which focus on their gross motor development. This program has been instrumental in closing the achievement gaps among various racial and ethnic groups represented in our school population.
