Positive Behavior Support (PBS)

The faculty and staff of John M. Clayton Elementary School believe that it is important to help students to grow beyond academics, but to also develop the whole child. To this end, our PBS team has established three rules for our students: Be Safe, Be Respectful, Be Responsible. We want for all of our students “TO BE ALL THAT THEY CAN BE AT JMC.” Students are rewarded through the school’s monetary system, Clayton Cash, for demonstrating one of the school-wide rules. Clayton Cash are redeemable at the school store on Fridays during lunch. A special drawing is held at each marking period’s award assembly in which any student who has redeemed a Clayton Cash is eligible.
