Math Club

Math Club (Tues/Thurs)- Students focus on the world of multiplication and division.  They are using visuals to help increase their understanding of strategies used to solve multiplication and division problems as well as instruction on how to determine which strategy is the most efficient to use.  Students play games, work on fact fluency, and problem solving skills.

Math Club (Wednesday)- Students come for a set of challenge problems.  These problems focus on math reasoning and logic.  Students are learning how to look for patterns, apply what they know,  and learn how to organize their thinking when faced with  multi-step problems.  Students choose if they would like to work together or individually to try and solve as many challenge problems as they can in the allotted time.
