Who Are We JMC
JMC Staff 2025

WELCOME BACK JMC!

We are excited to see you for an amazing year of learning together!  John M. Clayton Elementary School is an immersion school offering students an opportunity to learn in Spanish for half of the school day!  We are a Project Lead the Way school and STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Math) is one of our special rotations that students attend weekly.  Each year we host two music concerts, several fun PTO events, and grow food in our school garden every fall and spring.  JMC students and staff are unstoppable!  We are proud of the incredible culture created here at JMC and the academic progress shown in each grade level!

Dr. Booth Principal Award

Congratulations Dr. Booth!!  John M. Clayton Elementary School's Principal, Dr. Allisa Booth, is the proud recipient of the 2025 Delaware National Distinguished Principal of the Year!  JMC is so lucky to have her!  She works around the clock, devoting her life to making JMC the best school for our students and staff.  Dr. Booth is very deserving of this award!  We are so happy for her!
